Short answer
Stage Tour’s official FAQ explicitly names PDP Riffmaster controllers among modern instruments that work natively. The answer is still platform-specific: use an Xbox edition for Xbox or its supported PC path, and a PlayStation edition for PlayStation.
Best current rule: controller edition and target platform must match. Stage Tour support does not override the platform family printed on the controller.

What to keep with the controller
Keep the original wireless receiver and identify the exact edition before troubleshooting. “Riffmaster” alone is not enough information when asking for cross-platform help.
